special K now makes protein plus cereal that taste way better than the goleans. Sometimes I'll make some oatmeal pancakes with a scoop of proteing powhdah. Turkey bacon is healthy and tastes about the same.

I eat that as my mid afternoon snack...i guess it does not hurt to eat more than once.

I am iffy when it comes to eating non-breakfast items like chicken in the morning. I just can't do that.

    Anyway, thanks guys!

True story -- my wife and I used to live near the daughter of the Koshi family. Very cool person actually.

She said she had a pet rat as a kid named "Ratty Paddy," and they fed this rat Koshi cereal as its whole diet. The rat did all kinds of tricks, including jumping from one dresser to another in her bedroom.

The rat became immensely fat. One day it went to do its little jumping trick but fell into the abyss between the dressers, expiring after a loud, fat-enhanced impact. Ratty Paddy was no more.

Now that's just nasty... you can't mix that combination together and begin to take a bite of that.

What exactly is a non-breakfast item? Something we haven't been brainwashed to think of as breakfast? Food is food. Eat what your body needs when your body needs it.

America is also fat because as children we were taught that sugary cereals, pop-tarts, donuts, and cinnamon buns are "breakfast items"

I wouldn't exactly call it brainwashed. It's more of a preference. I prefer to eat things like eggs, cereal, oatmeal and etc for breakfast. My dude eats whatever in the morning and I make fun of him for that. He can eat chicken, tuna or whatever. It's his preference and I don't have that preference. :)

 I wholeheartedly disagree with all due respect, madam.

In my opinion, that is NOT the reason why America is fat. :( If you want to enjoy fattening things, also burn their content by exercising. Many of us fail to do that. Ice cream, anyone?

C'mon, now, you can have your protein in the morning. There are many things you can have besides EGGS that are protein-rich.

What about that nasty crap tofu?

"regurgitating"?? ^ What, you eat just before going to the store?
    :D

*I checked validity and there were no legitimate "That's What She Said" opportunities. You must know how/when Michael Scott uses it appropriately in order to use it here.

Canadian bacon is a low fat alternative for breakfast. You could also add protein powder to oatmeal.
