Here's a damn good sandwich. And it's easy as pie.

    Italian Sandwich

    Ingredients:

    4 Italian Hoagie rolls, sliced
    Fresh Basil Leaves
    Olive Oil
    Provolone Cheese
    Prosciutto Ham
    Salami
    Fresh Garlic, crushed
    Salt
    Pepper

Take the Hoagie and pour fairly generous amounts of olive oil on each top. Place fresh garlic on top of oil. Place fresh Basil on top loaf.

On bottom loaf, layer it prosciutto ham, salami, cheese, salt, and pepper.

Smush top and bottom loaves and moinge!

When I was in Australia, that was the first time I'd ever seen a burger with a fried egg on it. Not too bad, but not something I'd regularly eat. They also like to put a slice of red beet on their burger too.

My sandwich is not very glamorous, but it likes it.

Two slices of potato bread, lightly toasted, slap on some mayo, couple of leafs of lettuce, iceburg or romaine, alternating slices of honey ham and oven roasted turkey or honey roasted turkey. Couple of slices of tomatoe. Now, when the holidays come, I like to play around with this and instead of deli ham and turkey, use baked honey glazed ham and the thanks giving turkey. If there's no ham, then my Thanksgiving leftover sandwich fills out like this:

Any bread will do, but I really like potato
spread mashed sweet potatoes on both sides of bread
    lettuce
a layer of stuffing over the lettuce
place a couple of pieces of the turkey breast over the stuffing
    cranberry sauce over the turkey

BTW, have you guys noticed that while Fatty is the king of fast food, whenever he presents a recipe that he uses, it's always quite gourmet? I was hoping that Fatty was going to teach us how to make a proper Dagwood, right down to his technique for shuffling the meat and bread like a deck of cards.

Are you saying this because Fatty finally posted or is it because of your last post or is it because of something else (which I am guessing, I don't want to know about)? :D
