If you guys want to spice up foods like chili, eggs, etc., try some of this stuff. I use it at home and it's not overly expensive. : http://www.hotsauce.com/Blair-s-Death-Rain-Nitro-Seasoning-p/3530.htm
Well, i looked at what I got at home and its the following: 1) Tabasco - usually eat w/ eegs and popcorn 2) Sirachi - eat w/ chinese food 3) Pace - Eat w/ chips 4) Sabrosa Salsa Verde or something...looks like a smaller skinny 2 litter plastic bottle...very spicy and good...I've only seen it in the Dallas Walmarts, not in Houston... 5) Red Devil - eat it w/ my Dirty Rice on a side note, I had some very very very very very hot stuff at Firehouse subs one time...can't remember the name, but I didn't think it would be, but I was sweating, lips burned and it took forever for the heat/pain to go away...
Are you asking about the hottest cuisine or hottest dishes overall? Leaving aside specific dishes like the Four Horsemen Burger and sticking with cuisine you should try Sri Lankan, Thai and Sichuan food.
The spiciest dish I've ever had was a Thai steamed fish that was literally covered with Thai chilies. I couldn't even see the fish when it came out of the kitchen.
Be careful: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/3099484/Chef-dies-after-eating-superhot-chilli-for-bet.html Andrew Lee, 33, suffered heart failure the morning after he ate the chilli. Toxicology tests are now being carried out to see if the fork lift truck driver suffered a fatal reaction to the dish or whether anything else contributed to his death. Mr Lee, of Edlington, Doncaster was apparently in perfect health and had just passed a medical at work, the opening of the Doncaster hearing was told. Cooking was one of his main interests and he went to his girlfriend Samantha Bailey's house to make a chilli. His father John Lee told the inquest: "He had a bet with Samantha's brother who could make the hottest chilli then went back to her house to stay." Mother-of-four Miss Bailey called the emergency services to her home nine days ago. Police officers were called to the house after receiving reports of a man suffering a cardiac arrest and Mr Lee was found lying on the floor. Paramedics failed to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene. A full post-mortem examination is underway and further inquiries are being carried out. Deputy Doncaster coroner Fred Curtis granted a burial order and adjourned the inquest for further evidence.
Haha, awesome. I love stories like this. He probably should've had a bit more volume than a can of tomato soup, I think!
I found some of this today in a Ft. Worth area Albertsons. Certainly the hottest store-bought salsa I've had, and with good flavor. My mouth is still hot 10 minutes later. Not the hottest thing I've ever had, though.
My Dad has a history of choking on either Wasabi or Hot Mustard at several Chinese restaraunts. He would basically start choking reallly loudly drawing the attention of the entire restaraunt. On a few of those occassions, we actually thought he was choking on food and was going to die right then and there. We had to make him dilute whatever hot things he eats now. It was starting to get ridiculous after a while...not to mention embarrassing.
I think you're talking about their Blazin' wings. Hottest thing I ever had was at Lupe tortilla, of all places. They had one of those red jalapenos on their fajita plate, and a friend of mine who had put just a little bit of it on his fajita said that I had "ruined his supper!" So I called him a wuss and just took a big bite of the pepper. Don't know what type of pepper it was, or why this one was so much hotter than any jalapeno OR habenero I'd ever had, but I couldn't talk, and I had trouble breathing for a good 30 minutes. I just went to the bar and kept getting water after water, along with some milk and some bread. Nothing helped.
The Blazin' wings at BWW are hotter than that Ghost Pepper salsa. My wife tried it too and didn't mind it. A little bit of a letdown in the heat department, but it was pretty flavorful.
I'm not weak. I can do all sorts of hot. I don't know what they put in their wing sauce, but it's pretty damn hot.
This is right on the money. I'm a HUGE fan of hot, spicy food and everyone disappoints but them. "Mario hot" at Wings n Things is right up there too. Wings swimming in habanero sauce.
Some porno stars put Tabasco sauce on their finger and stick it up their butt when they can't get an erection.
I picked up some of the Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper salsa today at Kroger's. It's pretty damn hot, but still very edible. It has a great taste and a big punch of heat to go along with it. This might be my favorite store bought salsa now.
Those sauces are weak compared to the peppers. If you're looking to really get ghost pepper heat, eat a ghost pepper or get a true ghost pepper hot sauce. Most pepper hot sauces aren't as hot as the peppers they're made from because they're all diluted with other ingredients. I have Dave's Insanity Ghost Pepper hot sauce at home and there's no way that thing is anywhere near as hot as the ghost pepper. BTW, the bhut jolokia is no longer the hottest pepper in the world. Unofficially, the Naga Viper pepper is. It's a hybrid of the bhut jolokia and a couple of other peppers. It hits around 1.3 million on the scoville scale. That's enough to blow most peoples' heads off. It's about 30% hotter than a bhut jolokia.
If you're in the Fort Worth area, try getting hot sauces from this place : http://www.hotsaucedepot.com/Default.aspx If you're looking for heat, Mrs. Renfro's and salsas are a waste of money.
