I'm in the instant ramen bucket. I would eat spicy Korean style instant ramen every day, if it wasn't horrible for my health. I supercharge it with eggs, green onions, and any left over meat I have, including homemade chashu.

When I'm feeling sick instant ramen is my go to, extra hot with a hella lot of hot sauce poured in, opens up your whole damn brain.

Since the whole pandemic, I've been loading up on this Joonga Kimchi Ramen

These are by far the best, with real Kimchi in its own package in each pack of ramen. They sell it at H Mart for $5.99 for a pack of 4. Very well worth it

Ramen is much cheaper than canned soup so for budget purposes it wins running away. Back in grad school I once determined that Ramen was cheaper per weight than even rice.

Ramen also serves as a better base than canned soup. It's easier to do upgrade the cheapest ramen versus the cheapest canned soup.

Its hard for me to eat canned soup anymore, much to salty.

Hands down Ramen, especially considering how you can ramp it up.
