    There's one of those A&W burger joints at Old Spanish Trail and 288. You can get root bear in a frosty mug.

    man everything about this place is good. not a good looking restaraunt but typically thats how the best chinese food is, come from crappy looking restaraunts.

    Had a bad experience at China Star freshman year of college. Since then I will not go back.

    If you want the best freakin chinese food in this city (and not too far from UH if you drive down Elgin)....

    Mings at Westheimer/Montrose. They're food is made with some otherworldly ingredients that I can't quite put my finger on.

    Jake's is better. I only go to South Philly Steaks 'cause the owner gives me a discount with my Eagles cap/shirt/hoodie/jacket
