Red Robin has good burgers but they also have amazing fries and they are bottomless. They just built a new one off I-45 N in the Woodlands.
I don't know, used to be a big fan of Red Robin but the last time I went I really didn't enjoy. pappa's burger has a great burger if you are gonna spend some money and they have great fries.
EDIT- people already said that $22 for Fuddrucker's seemed fishy. Another great Burger is at Bubba's Ice House, on Westpark @ Chimney Rock. You can get Buffalo and Ostrich there, too.
Thanks to this thread, I just had Red Robin today I didn't know there was one in The Woodlands until you guys posted this. Fuddrucker's is ordinary. I've had several bad experiences with Cheddar's. I'll have to try Roznozsky's.
I concur. Went to Red Robin's for the first time last week and it was delish. Their seasoning is great as well!! If you're a fan of Mushroom Swiss...I highly recommend the one at RR's. If you go to the Red Robin location at the Marq*E Center, ask for Robin to be your server. Really nice lady.
During the NBA season I'll go out and pay $8 for a burger to watch the Rockets game but now I'm free to cook and not overpay for one of the simplest food items in creation: the burger. Ground beef is really cheap (duh) so all you need to worry about is the seasoning/veggies. This afternoon I sauteed mushrooms and onions in a korean soy garlic marinade and put it on top of a Foreman grilled patty. The patty I just worked in some garlic salt, seasoning salt and teryaki sauce and melted a couple slices of swiss cheese on an oven garlic toased sesame seed bun. Took me all of 10 minutes. Ta-daaa! And I didn't have to leave myself a 20% tip. Full stomach, tasty cheap lunch, and sweet sweet lovin from an appreciative girlfriend. Then I said "You taste like a burger. I don't like you anymore." Seriously though, learn to cook without it being a big deal if you dont know how already. You'll feel classy and your wallet will feel full (or not full if you're one of those debit card receipt saving types).
Why didn't they just keep the one that was there in the '80's? Ruby's salad bar is fantastic. Hot Bacon Dressing! Somebody mentioned Krystal on 1960. If you go, the burgers are okay, but it's ALL about the chili cheese pups!
