Anyone here tried this stuff. I tried it, and loved it. Great with crackers or chips. Found it in the refridgerated deli case at Kroger. Comes in a few brands and flavors. Roasted garlic is my favorite.

Got hooked on it when I spent a year in Freetown, Sierra Leone back in '85. Good stuff.

Nah man that brand of Hummus sucks... If you want to try the best Hummus you need to try is at Kasra on Gessner... That Persian restaurant is the bomb... Try the Cornish Hen (God Damn that is good eating)

I love hummus, but I've never had that brand. Trader Joe's makes a really good and pretty affordable hummus. I heard they were opening one in Houston.

Pita is the best, although I've had it with both soft tortillias and tortilla chips.

It's pretty easy to make hummus if you have a food processor. You just need a can or two of chickpeas, olive oil, garlic and that spice they use (google it).

Yia Yia Mary's makes a good hummus. I like their appetizer platter of the various flavors of hummuses (hummi?).

a can of chick peas should cost you under a dollar.
olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon, sesame paste (tahini) adds some bite
additional roasted/cooked vegetables to taste: tomatoes, garlic, spinach etc...

For some reason I thought you were talking about haggis, I've never had hummus.
