My guilty food pleasures, in no particular order: Wings BBQ Ribs Antones Red Wrap James Coney Island Popeyes or Frenchy's Fried Chicken
I have a guilty pleasure I make...which I'm not sure what it's called. I think it is called "Tortilla Chip Delight". It basically goes like this: 1 square casserole dish 1 can cream of chicken and mushroom soup Big bag Tortilla chips of your liking 1/2 pound of ground beef 1/2 an onion grated sharp cheddar cheese (or mexican cheese combo) jalapenos (optional) small can chiles (optional) 1/8 tablespoon butter (to grease dish) Cook the ground beef in large pan. Drain grease. Add in onions and fry a little more. When beef is cooked and onions start to turn translucent, remove from heat and stir in can of cream chicken/mushroom. Don't salt as enough salt already in soup and chips. Can add pepper if you wish. Using butter, grease bottom/sides of casserole dish well. Layer bottom with chips; break up chips some so they lie flat. Apply layer of meat/soup mixture and some cheese. If enough mixture, then can do multiple beef mixture/chip layers (may use 1 pound of beef and 2 cans of soup if desired for more mixture; can switch to rectangular casserole dish). Then, layer top with chips broken up so they lie flat. Cover with desired amount of cheese (preferrably enough to cover) and throw on jalapenos/chiles (or whatever to top it with). When done prepping, pick up casserole dish and tap on counter to help settle ingredients/remove air pockets. Cook at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or so. May cook additional few minutes to achieve better crisp on chips on bottom/top of dish. If middle layer of chips, then these become soft like tortillas during cooking. Let cool a few minutes and cut up with spatula into squares. I love these type of nachos. I will eat either hot or cold. It's not necessarily a healthy dish so that is why it is a guilty pleasure.
I thought you were misspelling "poontain." So had to google it. Looks like it could kill you for sure. <img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a6/OriginalPoutineLaBanquise.jpg/800px-OriginalPoutineLaBanquise.jpg">
I'm not sure why poutine hasn't caught on in the US. The concept is the same as chili cheese fries. I make it at least once a week but I don't feel guilty about it. Mine is movie theater popcorn drowning in 'butter topping'.
