I know this has been done before but I want to do a different spin on it. I want to do it by item. I couldn't care less if the BBQ is served at a hole in the wall, I want to know about it. anyone going to the first ever Houston BBQ Festival on March 24? http://www.29-95.com/restaurants/story/first-houston-barbecue-festival-coming http://houbbq.com/
My favorite for a chopped beef sandwich is Old Hickory Inn in Missouri City. I also love their fries and their jalapeno bbq sauce.
Any with what you would call severe smoky flavor? The smokier the better for me, I hate bb Haven't tried their ribs or anything else, but
*hate bbq that lacks that smokey flavor. Big horn in pearland makes pretty good sandwiches, but those are more dependent on sauce quality.
