This is great! I, too, am more confident than ever! It won't be Reagan Mondale or Clinton Bush I but it will be a dominant Bush victory. Actually, it will be a victory for all of us, Dems and Reps alike.

So how bad does a president have to be these days to only get one term?

The only thing you can call disengenuous is the question about how Kerry earned the medals. That was ONE ad. The rest have been factual. The liberals' counter to the Swiftees is that they are liars. They are not liars. How are they lying about Kerry desecrating the medals? How are they lying about Kerry testifying in front of Congress? How are they lying about CAMBODIA? When a candidate for President and Commander in Chief writes a book and puts an updside down American flag on the cover, then mocks Iwo Jima, I'm sorry but I don't care how old that is, it is HIGHLY RELEVANT. Why did Kerry CHOOSE to put that on the cover of his book? He is a traitor.

Yes, I'm sure glad the Democrats aren't talking about 30 year old garbage...like Bush's National Guard service.

Good to see they're taking the high road.

Cowards tend to act like they have power to cover up the truth about themselves. I don't think anyone will consider TJ a man until he actual does that debate with andymoon.

    Jorge cheered that one, too.

It is rare to see dishonesty and dishonor admitted so casually. I guess it is sort of how he proclaims himself victorious and ominipotent so casually.

Sort of like Dubya who admitted that he supported the Vietnam War, but used connections to avoid it.

Maybe this lack of personal honor is the real tie-in of Jorge and Dubya?

First, I was referring to this thread. This thread was started about 30 year old garbage, and then someone posted about the national debt.

As far as Bush's NTl. Guard service, that was just self defense. I do hate that the debate has gone their, but the slander and lies couldn't go on forever without trying to put the other side on the defensive.

Not a chance. Even with the way I offered to stack the deck in his favor, it appears that he is not THAT confident in his ability to persuade. I would love to get him on a poker table. I bet he is a serial caller.

Need more proof the Kerry campaign is in deep trouble? I wonder if Kerry will have someone else debate for him as well?

Kennedy to Hit Campaign Trail for Kerry

Tue Sep 14, 6:30 PM ET
By LOLITA C. BALDOR, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (news, bio, voting record), often credited with giving a boost to John Kerry (news - web sites)'s presidential campaign, is launching a seven-week election drive for his Massachusetts colleague that will pair fund raising and travel with a barrage of speeches condemning President Bush (news - web sites)'s policies.

Kennedy, D-Mass., will make two campaign stops in Pennsylvania on Friday, in addition to appearances around the country nearly every weekend as a surrogate for Kerry. While the Senate remains in session, Kennedy plans almost daily rebukes of Bush's policies, ranging from the war in Iraq (news - web sites) to health care and education.

Kennedy waged a similar war of words against Bush four years ago for Democrat Al Gore (news - web sites). But this time, his work for Kerry will be more active and involve much more travel, Kennedy's aides said.

They would not release a list of places where Kennedy is expected to campaign, but said the liberal Democrat will be in battleground states across all regions of the country.

Kennedy said he is intent on defeating Bush and putting Kerry in the White House, and will lay out the administration's "incompetence" in its domestic and foreign policies in his speeches.

He started Tuesday with a condemnation of Bush's efforts at solving the nation's health care crisis.

"George Bush (news - web sites) has had a lot to say about health care over the last few days, but nowhere has the Bush presidency been more devastating," said Kennedy, who will speak about health care in Harrisburg and Scranton on Friday.

Republicans, meanwhile, have rejoiced in the opportunity to link Kerry with his home state's liberal lion — one of the politicians conservatives love to hate.

During the primary contests this year, Kennedy allowed Kerry to hire two of his key staffers, including Mary Beth Cahill, who is now Kerry's campaign manager. Kennedy later traveled to Iowa and New Hampshire to help energize crowds and rally the liberal base for Kerry.

How is having Ted Kennedy campaigning for Kerry a sign of trouble? What does it say about the Republicans that they needed a “Democrat” to deliver their Keynote Address?

In putting Ted Kennedy on the campaign trail, they are putting out a more moderate voice than Kerry. Good God, it's amazing how LIBERAL Kerry is. His record is to the LEFT of Ted ChappaKennedy. I didn't think that was possible, but it obviously is. The campaign is surely
