Folks, this is real: Obama targets Republicans for Chrysler dealer closings

I agree that the GOP dealership thing could be just a coincidence, but when you add the fact that minority owners are being left alone for the most part makes this story have legs. If this is true, this is the most dangerious and racist government ever!

 

I believe that the crown of most dangerous and racist government ever is safe with Germany from 1938-1945. Closing car dealerships isn't anything close to operating concentration camps and murdering 6,000,000 people of Jewish faith.

 

refman already pointed to Nazi Germany, there were numerous other govts. including the previous administration where an open racist was appointed head of the civil rights division of the Justice department which were definitely more racist.

Your saying some great things on the board, it's just too bad there is no validity to any of them.

Just found out more info. Turned out to be not true, but its still a bit of a disproportion number compared to the overall number.......

Of the 789 Chrysler dealers who were notified that their contracts will not be renewed, 38 are minority owned. There were about 170 minority dealers in Chrysler's 3,181 total dealers. So out of 170 or so minority owned dealerships, only 38 of them will be let go. Its still a smaller percentage compared to the 789 total. Not too bad, but still its worth taking note of.

And when I said this would be the most racist government if this was true, I meant to say US government. Although the Wilson administration was pretty racist(social enginering). All Obama has done so far is pick a racist woman for the sepreme court and maybe saved some minority dealerships, so he has a way to go to beat Wilson

So by those numbers, there are 3011 non minority owned dealers, of which 751 are closing ~ 25%. Of the 170 minority owned dealers, 38 are closing or about 22%, draw a 95% CI interval and you can see that number of minority dealers are well within the statistical variance (16% to 29%) , which debunks the fact that there's any overtly biased racism in the administration.

 

What do you mean by social engineering?
