i think i'm in love. i can't believe how many people write "all of the sudden." i've never heard anyone say "all of the sudden," only "all of a sudden," but i see it written so often. now, if she could just write an article on how people always write "then" instead of "than" when comparing two things, i think i'd ask her to marry me. that mistake is more egregrious than "all of the sudden" because there's no freakin' excuse for not being able to spell a four letter word correctly. i know it sounds like "then" if you say it kind of fast but "february" sounds like "febuary" when you say it but no one would just decide to spell it "febuary" and think it was correct. i can't believe even bill simmons makes this mistake, which means his editor has to make the mistake also. you're the best writer on a major website and can't figure out then versus than. amazing. and i'm sure he didn't make that mistake in the past. it's like the idiocy is rubbing off on him or something from seeing it so much. and i'm sure i made some typo in this post that someone is going to quote.
Hmm, looking back at some pics of Ms. Polo throughout the years has led me to the conclusion that she is like Rene Russo. She has gotten better and better as she has gotten older. Compare that smoking pic of her that Oski posted to these: Cute, but not smokin' hot like the pic of her in the lavender dress.
IMO Teri Polo has never looked better than when she was on Sports Night a few years ago with the red hair. Her blond incarnations have never done as much for me. And speaking of Rene Russo, I agree. She was absolutely sizzling in the Thomas Crown Affair. It's actually one of my favorite movies. Sexual tension, and impressive heist scenes. What more do you need out of a movie.
