Well a convicted liar isn't going to be a good witness against Trump so I guess Meuller knows there was no collusion with Russia at this point. Trollololol.
I guess its a rhetorical question, but if nothing illegal or inappropriate happened, why the constant lying?
Most people are smart in this forum. Y'all are jonsing so bad for Trump to get in trouble y'all aren't reading. The original story said the meetings in question were post election. Trump maybe a spoiled brat but he doesn't have a damn time machine Refreakinlax guys
You clearly don’t understand this story and what is right or wrong about the Trump campaign, elected, and admin actions in those three different time periods. When this December call with Flynn and Russia took place Trump was president ELECT. They were not yet authorized to enact or undermine existing US policy. There can only be one acting government at a time, and John Adams put this law in place to make sure that would never happen. Of course it’s a law that is likely broken all the damn time, but it doesn’t matter. It’s still a law and unethical and unpatriotic at the very least to be flirted with. However the Mueller probe doesn’t exist to investigate the Logan Act. It exists to investigate three things- -Foreign money and campaign finance laws -conspiracy to assist Russian hacking -obstruction of justice This Flynn call is part of the last two points more than anything if it helps tell the back end of the quid in quid pro quo because of the sanction discussions.... which NOTHING is more important to Putin than getting sanctions removed. It also is a major part of the investigation into whether or not Trump obstructed the investigation. The question Mueller ultimately wants answered here is “what did Russia do for you (Trump admin) where you are in the negotiating position(even before you get sworn in) to give up something as valuable as removing sanctions on a country who just committed an act of war on your country... and why is everyone lying about it to the point where they are willing to put themselves in jail over hiding this relationship with Russia?” That is at the heart of understanding whether or not the Trump campaign was involved in the hacking and election influence. Obviously Mueller knows the answer now to that question and we will find out sooner or later (probably later than we think) what crimes have been or have not been committed. I think this is a very fair take, and it’s crazy that people can really be stretching this far to confuse or downplay basic facts and what would normally be patriotic norms.
unreal, the deep state is corrupt https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...0a9770d9a3e_story.html?utm_term=.8e9cb6f1994c
Is this really all that surprising? It was obvious that politics was the ONLY reason Hillary was let off the hook and it's those types of people who are seeking revenge for their boy Comey getting fired for being part of it. That's really what all of this is about.
What seems to be obvious is that there are A LOT of people getting in trouble and lying repeatedly over something that is "much ado about nothing". You were wrong (again) about the severity of the Russian investigation.
Tell the whole story here that it was Mueller himself that removed members who expressed political opinions. This actually shows Mueller’s credibility in impartiality. Where this does create a narrative Right Wingers will love, is in the credibility of the Hillary email probe where ON THAT CASE there was perceived impartiality. Guess what though ... FBI agents are people too. They might protect their views to the public but make no mistake that they have political opinions, and if you know anyone in law enforcement at any level, you’ve probably known that many of them are in fact very conservative. The whole “deep state” argument with the FBI is something crazy people say. There might be an informal “deep state” so to speak but there is no evidence that these lifelong government employees are 100% out to liberalize the country. It’s quite the opposite in a lot of cases. In this case Mueller did the right thing to remove these folks since their private views WOULD HAVE removed credibility to his investigation. This news though does remove some credibility in the Hillary email investigation.
Based on what? So far all that has happened is that the initial narratives have been fairly debunked, to the point that no one is even talking about them anymore. To this day there's been nothing major that has happened and it looks unlikely to ever result in anything major.....and even if it did, the inherent conflict of interest among those investigating would ensure nothing ever came of it. By all means, keep hope alive that you'll get a Pence presidency, I would see Trump getting booted out of office as a best case scenario myself, but the difference is that I stay grounded in the real world while you are overly indulgent with your delusional fantasies.
No, it shows damage control. There's already what should be disqualifying conflicts of interest with Mueller, he couldn't allow for those he hired to make their bias known too.
Debunked? Mueller's investigation isn't over yet. Wait until his investigation concludes, then you can determine whether or not it has or has not been debunked. The investigation is just heating up. Trump is getting nervous,
Yeah, who is still talking about Russian collusion anymore? They found absolutely no evidence of it, so things have switched gears looking for anything they can find. Like I said, you run with your delusional fantasies way too much, the second they went with Mueller to run this investigation is when it was obvious that nothing serious would come of it. Now maybe they'll get some underlings for whatever small charges they can manage, but that's about the end of it. Any case against the president would be doomed due to the obvious conflicts of interest when it comes to the person leading the witch hunt. So while I'd love it if Trump could be taken down, it's just not realistic.
Trump Says He Is ‘Very Happy’ After Flynn Plea https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-says-he-is-very-happy-about-flynn-plea-1512240571?mod=e2tw
Thanks for the legal lesson but Trump engaging Russia is regular business for any President. So Trump sends Flynn to finish an illegal quid pro quo therefore unnecessarily involving another party in election fixing. Not likely bro
