Flunking School- Don't worry about it go Pro

    Bobby and DoD, thank you. Unless the athlete has a real interest in learning and furthering his education then its pointless. I think the only chance most of them have is if there is someone who is willing to try and really help them with school, not just the run of the mill tutor. A degree is meaningless unless you have the skills to back it up, and quite frankly you don't have to be all that bright to get a degree in a lot of fields. That's not a knock on those majors, because the people who have the real interest will be able to excel, but it doesn't take that much to graduate. I don't know where everyone else has gone or is currently going to school, but I have a feeling that it is similar to where I go, there are plenty of slow brains running around that will eventually get a degree and will find it difficult to get a job.

    Amen Haven. thats what i was saying in Dont get your hopes up about swift. well said. i agree college and education are just important as financial oppurtunities.
