Psychogenic doesn't mean she's faking it. I think back in the day they used to call it a 'hysterical' illness. The illness is very real, and not something that she can control. But it is all in her head.

Love the "walk it out" video. LOL. At the time I first saw her "illness," I couldn't help thinking how much some of it looked like a rap video, with the hand throwing or what-not.
I don't think she faked it, I think she had an adverse reaction to something and her body is healing itself. I had an adverse reaction to the measles vaccine as a kid....and it took a couple of weeks for it to run it's course. The Human body is a sensitive machine. DD
But DD, from what I understand, even when the episode hit, noted neuro-doctors were saying "yeah, this is pretty much impossible for this to be related to anything physical." All evidence really points to this being in her head, and as Ottomaton said, it does happen. She probably wasn't "faking it," but her brain was. Besides, I really want to enjoy the video that KingCheetah posted.
