Last time I had the flu was 1983, I was sick for about five days. I get the flu shot every year, why not? I must have a very strong immune system because I almost never get sick. I don't even get colds or the sniffles. Sometimes I'll get a very slight sore throat, but it will usually be gone the next day. The last time I vomited was in 1997 due to food poisoning. I guess I'm just lucky, some people are sick every other week it seems.
Daughter came down with the flu earlier in the week. Now I have the flu despite getting a flu shot. Came down with it this afternoon tried to go to work and decided nope I feel bad so went to doctor and now I'm out for the weekend. Truthfully I have felt worse with a mild hangover but they say I have it.
She did not have the shot and she was playing acting like a dog the day she got it.. So mild for her as well.
