You obviously don't know much about steroids and how they work. You can't use them for a week and have massive gains and cycle them out, then repeat that step.

If you want to argue that PAC should take the testing that's fair, but to talk about how he could have an advantage in the way you are suggesting tells me you know next to nothing about steroids. It takes time to see real gains, you can't just shoot up or pop a pill and boom you are transformed. Some steroids stay in for days and others many months. I've studied several different steroids and their effects for about 20 years, which includes following many cycles with quite a few people I know. So it's probably a good idea to stick with what you know, that Pac won't agree to Olympic testing. Unless you actually have something to contribute on first hand knowledge with steroids, other than Internet readings and Barry Bonds, stop wasting my time.

FTFY. If it's risky enough for Money, it's risky enough for Pac.

I know this. That's why I think he denied taking the tests because he is taking his time to clean up and will eventually be ready for olympic style drug testing, but just not right now. He knows he would fail at this moment.

That blood test wasn't for HGH, EPO, and the other list of things WADA checks for.

You keep telling yourself that. Dana white refuses to set up a JDS vs Cain fight in the meantime while Carwin vs Brock is going to happen. Know why? So both fighters records still look appealing to the average fan. He still won't give Jon Jones a legit top 10 fighter. No A. Silva vs GSP fight because of 112. Instead we see him go against BJJ fighters with little stand up game and dances with them. And of course no Fedor vs UFC HWs because Dana won't co-promote.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, so I'll chime in:

This fight will likely be determined by one thing and one thing only: the jab.

Both fighter's primary asset is their incredible speed, both offensively and defensively. Rather than emote endlessly about who has the greater speed, I believe it is more important to look at who has the ability to SLOW the other fighter's speed and the only way to do that is with an accurate straight jab.

Mosley was on his way to being P4P king until he ran across the late Vernon Forrest and his lengthy, pinpoint jab. It was quite simple...if he couldn't "get in" he could never "get off". Two different fights he tried and failed versus Forrest and it took a dismantling of Antonio Margarito (a taller fighter who, inexplicably, fights like a shorter fighter, refusing to jab) to get his elite stardom back on track. Subsequent fights have been impressive for Shane, though it can be argued that Cotto was able to contain Sugar with a solid yet plodding jab.

Floyd has yet to fight anyone with that jab in their arsenal (not coincidentally, I'm sure). All his bending and flexing and quickness can be negated with that single punch, delivered repeatedly with conviction and commitment. That said, I have never been truly impressed with Shane's jab. It CAN be effective, but will he show the resolve to stay with it, waiting until the mid to late rounds to unleash his speed and formidable pop?

I say yes. Mosley would have to be an idiot not to see his own weaknesses in Floyd...including the cockiness to not change up his game at that juncture of his career. Shane is just as quick as always and definitely stronger than before. He now needs to summon his inner-Hopkins and rely on cunningness, patience and defense.

Should Sugar skirt the strategy and decide to mix it up with Floyd, he'll get obliterated. Floyd's too fast and flexible to be beaten that way. He'll bend and twist out of the way of hooks and crosses then simply potshot Shane to death. Just ask Ricky Hatton how that counter left hook tasted. He'll tell you that heart alone won't beat Money May. You need heart, talent and brains enough to have an effective executable strategy. I know Shane has the first two. Tomorrow night we'll see if he has the last. Should he show it, he'll go down as not just a HOF'er (he's already that), but possibly a top 10 fighter of alltime.

Prediction: Mosley in 10 via TKO

Wrong and wrong. It still takes time to set fights up. Is it not fair to say that JDS and Cain are not even in their respective primes yet? You will see that fight, it takes time to make certain fights. My point with boxing was just like you are seeing now with Floyd and Shane, one is in their prime the other well past. Is it still possible Shane wins, of course but less likely.

Over a year ago Dana said there is no way he would put GSP up against Silva, stating after seeing Silva destroy lightheavy's, Silva is just to big. Different case there all together.

Jon Jones is still relatively new in the sport, you will see him fight better competition soon. Jones only 22, while out classing everyone thus far, didn't help himself losing to MH by DQ. Like I said above, he's 22 and not in his prime either. You still have to position guys and make them earn fights, just don't wait till they're in their 40's like boxing.

As far as Fedor, why should Dana co-promote with M1? The UFC has worked very had to make this a legit sport without the help of any other orginizations. The UFC offered Fedor the largest contract of any fighter they had. To me M1 is protecting Fedor's legacy, even Fedor's brother has told him to get out from under M1. You should know UFC is far better than these other orginizations that are falling off like flies, so why help anyone out? has it worked for Strikeforce? Not IMO.

Yeah, a blood sample takes about five or 10 seconds, it's not ****ing major surgery. Yet, for him it's absolute mental and physical torture to even see a needle. Yet he can get punctured with a needle repeatedly for hours to get some stupid-ass bunch of tats. You wonder why, of course, with his paranoid, insane, debilitating fear of needles whichmust exist from childbirth, would even get a tattoo in the first place, I mean why even risk it? He must have read a post of yours or something I bet while he was living in a dumpster in the phillipines.

It's funny, he managed to have all sorts of blood samples taken all the time in order to get licensed to fight in various jurisdicitons - not sure of course how much he had to retire to the fainting couch beforehand. Perhaps since you are such a big fan you can explain a bit more.

Exactly. Can you imagine if it was Floyd refusing these tests?

Oh really? Didn't Manny agreed to certain drug testing and one right after the fight? I don't think he's afraid of the needle. It more to do with him saying f@ckyou to Gayweather for accusing him and making him look bad and dictating how this should be play out. I bet Manny will follow with the random drug testing if the governing body of boxing step in but he will not agreed under Gayweather condition. It's all ego here.

GSP vs Silva was going to happen before Silva started dancing with Maia and Dana got mad at him.

Lesnar got a title shot after going 2-1. Couture got a HW title shot after losing to Liddell for the LHW title. It's bull**** he won't throw JDS vs Cain fight or give Jones better competition. He's making Cain wait at least 7 months for the winner of Carwin vs Lesnar. That sucks for Cain.

Mayweather will probably wait until Manny is closer to 40 before he lets that fight happen.

I think Mayweather handles Mosley here.

You do know if Manny doesn't fight Floyd he will fight Margarito (I'd love to see you justify that fight) or Berto. Far cry from "great" opponents

If Manny fights Margarito it would be funny because Mayweather's been ducking him for years. LOL

This pretty much prove that Manny isn't letting Gayweather making the call. Manny already admit that If the government body of boxing steps in and say he must follow the olympic drug testing he will. THis is BS on Gayweather part and Manny is only telling him to F off.

Sorry we derailed this thread. Couture has more than earned what he gets. The fact still remains, the young guys are in the mix and will be getting their shots. Of course Dana has to work it to the UFC's advantage, it's a business, but make no mistake, if you deserve a shot in the UFC, you'll get it.

I hated that Lesnar got his shot early, but you have to admit he took full advantage, and dude is just born to fight.

GSP vs Silva was far from a done deal, it was just being discussed. Dana threw that out there IMO to light a fire under Silva.

So we've gone through this whole thing, and I still stand by the UFC guys at least get there shot and early. Anyway, I respect your opinion and appreciate the discussion
