Not at all. Pacquiao did his part. My point was that you can't call Floyd/Shane a boring UD and not refer to Pacquiao/Clottey the same way.

A lot of writers said if Floyd beats SSM in impressive fashion they would refer to him as the number 1 p4p fighter in the world. He did just that so we'll see. Manny was 1 before this fight. It is certainly a debate now. If Manny fights Margarito (they guy whos ass Shane kicked before Floyd beat him) then Floyd goes to 1 easy. I hope MOF's will say the same thing about terrible competition if that fight happens.

I never said he didn't win, and I never said he doesn't punish his opponents. Man, the last 50 or so punches to Shane's face of the total 70+ were in the last three rounds. He can pick his best times. He's good at this "science" you call "waiting for the judges to score the entire fight" thing. I don't say he doesn't win. My point is he needs to Mike Tyson some dude so he can show his true power...he's not willing to duke it out.
The only thing that was impressive was how he came back after that bad second round. You say Nobody stopped Shane before? Really? See rounds 3-10 vs. Miguel Cotto. Cotto rested in the last two.
So you're acknowledging he can't power punch? ALL his punches are "power punches" according to CompuBox... but they don't have a lot of power. Aren't you making MY point? Can't knock someone out? Hatton...? Please. He had speed, but no big chin to take a beating.
It doesn't matter what Pac does. I am only looking at Pretty Boy's dance moves. He sticks and moves. It doesn't matter what Pac does.

Stopped means ko'd or tko'd in boxing. You know that though. Cotto was worn down from Shane's body attack. He didn't take off the championship rounds.

Are you a boxing fan? Certain punches are considered power shots. That's how compubox is measured.

I'm not making any point of yours because I agree with absolutely nothing you are typing. Floyd isn't a power puncher. He's a boxer puncher,. He stops fighters by accumulation of punishment. He doesn't posses 1 punch ko power.

Some people can appreciate what Floyd does and some can't. You are just hating though. How do you feel about Pernell Whitaker? Sadly, he isn't a boxer by your definition.

I think if Floyd threw more combos, his KOs would be much higher. But he simply doesn't. He's a very accurate puncher but usually throws one, maybe two punches at a time. King of Pop...shots. Shane is lucky Floyd is not a volume puncher or he would have been laid on his ass. I believe he has KO power. He just chooses to play it safe. Funny thing is, I actually read somewhere that Floyd was yelling at Shane to stop holding and fight him.

If you throw more punches there are more openings to get countered. That's why he throws only one or two at a time, to minimize potential counter punches.

http://compuboxonline.com/stat_files/MAY-MOS.htm Go read. You say he is NOT a power puncher. OMG! Compubox, you're wrong!

 I like how he first says "You are obviously incapable of having a rational discussion on this subject" but he continues to discuss the subject. :p

Are you being serious? Compubox has certain punches that they consider power shots. That is compubox. Just because someone lands a lot of those shots doesn't mean they are a power puncher. If you decide to watch Khan/Malignaggi you will see plenty of "power punches" by Malignaggi. That doesn't mean he's a power puncher. I don't know how else to explain it to you.

You have me on that line. I'll concede as much. That said, you chose not to address anything else I said. My guess it's because I've got you on those points. We will see.

Juan Manuel Marquez... though, I believe Marquez should have beaten him twice. Manny's scared of him.

When Floyd faces boxers who force the action he always knock them out. See... Arturo Gatti, Angel Manfredy & Sharmba Mitchell

Problem is everyone who try to pressure Floyd when they find out how hard it is to hit them he confuse them and the chess match begins. Pacquiao has only a pressure offense and leaves himself open for countless of counter shots. Floyd win KO 4th round.

Not just that but countering and landing high percentages of power punches. Fighters play checkers while boxers play chess in the ring.
