Actually, I don't think Manny always gets enough credit for his wins. For the same reason you gave, lots of people didn't give him credit for beating DLH. But you know what? Before the fight, many people said Pac had no chance, even though they knew Oscar is past his prime and at 147. Manny was the underdog in Vegas betting. He retired DLH on his stool. Then people started saying all the stuff about being shot, weight drained, ect. I'll give them that one. I think Floyd gets a lot of slack for beating DLH because of the SD.

Even when he fought Hatton, there were even some people, particularly a few on this board, that said Hatton was too big and strong and would bully Manny all night. Well, come Round 2 and we saw what happened. After the demolition, people, started to say Hatton never was really that good. And I agree.

So then he fights Cotto. Ok so here is the guy that will stop Manny. No way Manny is able to take the powerful body shots from Cotto. Well, he nearly dominated Cotto for 12 rounds. After the fight, "Cotto was already shot". Cotto called him the "best fighter in the world" after the fight.

Now with Clottey, there was no way you could discredit Manny for this win. Actually some people, mainly casual boxing fans, said if Clottey threw more, he would have won. Wrong because the more he threw, more openings for Pac to hit him. Clottey said himself he couldn't throw more punches because he was too fast.

So just like Floyd, Manny doesn't get full credit for his wins either. Manny just gets more love from casual fans because of his fighting style. I think both guys have solidified their legacies with their recent bouts. They pretty much took out all the best fighters that stood in between them.

I really want to see Gamboa/JuanMa. It would be nice to see Cabellero in that mix too. If Calzaghe does come back I would love to see him fight Chad Dawson or the winner of the super 6. Don't forget Vasquez/Marquez 4 is coming up too. That is the best trilogy I've had the pleasure of seeing live. The matchup I really want to see in the super six is Ward/Direll

HBO Saturday fight night: Paul Williams vs Kermit Cintron May 8

Two former welterweight champs face off in a junior middleweight showdown when World Championship Boxing: Paul Williams vs. Kermit Cintron is presented live Saturday, May 8 (9:45 p.m. ET/6:45 p.m. PT) from the Home Depot Center in Carson, Cal., exclusively on HBO.

The World Championship Boxing team will be ringside for all the action, presented in HDTV and in Spanish on HBO Latino.

Two-time welterweight champ Paul Williams (38-1, 27 KOs) from Augusta, Ga. meets one-time welterweight champ Kermit Cintron (32-2-1, 28 KOs), now training out of Houston, in a scheduled 12-round contest. Called the most avoided fighter in boxing due to his ring style and stature, Williams showed his power last December in an exciting slugfest with Sergio Martinez, and has faced former or current champs in six of his last eight fights. The hard-hitting Cintron, whose only pro losses were to Antonio Margarito, is known for his knockouts. Both look to establish their presence at 154 pounds.

Kermit trains here in Houston. That said, he's going to get his ass handed to him. He's a nice dude but I'm not a fan of his as a fighter. Diaz/JMM 2 is set for July 31st.

Cintron gets stopped in the 9th.

As for the JMM Diaz rematch, that is pure garbage. Ok the first fight was really entertaining, ok. But a rematch? on PPV? No way in hell people buy this unless the undercard is stacked. IF and only IF the undercard is stacked, I will purchase it.

He looks good in the gym but I agree. The fact that the fight is in Vegas is ridiculous. It should have been here, SA or Dallas. They will be lucky to sell 1000 tickets. Here it would do 15k. I'm pretty sure they will stack the udercard. I'm going to the fight to support Juan. That's my boy win or lose but I agree it's not a ppv fight. It will still be entertaining. Both will go toe to toe and make it a fan friendly fight.

Side note, I have your signed pic of Danny. I can send it to you or you can meet me at Savannah's and watch some of the guys train and pick it up. Cintron, Juan , Adamek, Danny, Lara and Omar Henry are all good fighters. Some solid amatuers as well.

I'm curious to know who are that two guys that doing the blood test on Mosley and Mayweather? Who do they work under or what organization are they? I mean how trustful are they because don't tell me they can't be paid to shut up.

Danny fights on the 15th on the undercard of Khan/Malignaggi and I have an amatuer kid coming down on the 16th whom I'm looking at managing. maybe sometime the week after that works? Ronnie will be with Kermit (they leave Tuesday) for the PWill fight so the next week will be better in terms of seeing fighters and people. I'll hit you up. You're welcome at Savannah's anytime you want to watch guys train. I'll introduce you to Willie, Ronnie and jay and that way to can go whenever your schedule permits. Boxing is all about fans and I appreciate your support.

Come on dude. This is getting out of hand. If that's the case then the NSAC can be paid off too.

Mosley said on fight week he had given eight urine tests and four blood samples supervised by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

    De La Hoya, Cotto, Clottey

Manny whipped all their BIG asses. Floyd had to cheat and add weight to fight Marquez.

I got a jam for you.

Oh really? USADA is multimillion dollars organization and they'll love to get their piece of the pie with boxing. It's funny that Oscar Dela Hoya and Mayweather that introduces these guys like doing business for them. Make you curious if it does happen it's a big thank you from USADA to Mayweather and Oscar. I don't care how trusting USADA is but big paycheck can't shut anyone up.

Another thing is that almost all boxers who tested positive for steroids tested positive after the fight not before and Manny agreed for test after the fight. Mayweather is pushing it and I see USADA is all business.

Floyd beat DLH at 154. You consider Cotto and Clottey elite opponets?

What exactly is your point here? The NSAC are more likely to be corrupted then then the USADA. It's nt even close

I don't think its a garbage fight at all. I don't see why everyone is complaining. Their first fight was fight of the year. This one will be as good, if not better. It doesn't hurt to have more good fights for boxing. These guys could fight 5 times if they wanted, I'd watch. I'll be buying the PPV. I guarantee it will have more action than Floyd-Shane and more bang for your buck.

They'll do ok on PPV. Two highly entertaining Mexican fights under the big lights. Plus, they both get a nice pay day. Good for our boy Juan.
