So $$$ taking this fight negates turning down fights with Margarito, Cotto and Mosely? And as for Manny Ali, fans love him because he fights to fight. Just like a boxer from the old school. He isn't fighting just for the money like Lil Floyd. Anyways, I predict a 12 rounder. If there is going to be a knockout, $$$ will be on the wrong end. I think thats the only way Manny wins. If it goes 12 rounds, that means Floyd successful danced around Manny. Going to be a great night for boxing heads but I don't think the match itself will be as exciting as the hype.

this is how you know you're a hater...when he does what you want him to do...what you said he'd never do...and it's still not enough.

if floyd outboxes manny in the sport of boxing, floyd will be the winning boxer. i think that's the way it will go down. and those who love boxing will enjoy the boxing match, between 2 great boxers, either way.

 

This. I don't know if you can call yourself a boxing fan if you don't enjoy watching Mayweather's great defense. If you want a slug fest go to grade school during lunch time or something. What's not to like about 2 great fighters going at it?

 

What? I never ever said Floyd was scared of Manny. You just assume that because I don't ride the $$ train that I think he's scared of Manny. Wrong. I'm not a fan of him but I respect his boxing skills. But I guess if I'm not a fan and ride his nuts, makes me a hater right? I had doubts this fight would happen because of the split situation. Never said anything about Floyd being scared of Manny.

 

I can't wait to see Mayweather try to dodge the volume of punches Manny will throw the whole fight. All it takes is one good shot.

Manny is going to to be target practice for Floyd. Pac is open to the check hook quite often, and Floyd will happily hit him with it the entire fight.

Floyd won't be running in this fight. For one, Manny won't allow it. He'll be forced to engage. Manny did take hits from Cotto, but they hurt a lot less when you can see them coming. Cotto totally abandoned his body attack which in my opinion is his biggest weapon. No question, Manny played a large role in that but he has never faced anyone like Floyd. I like Pac, I just think he's biting off way more then he can chew here

The only thing better would be to have the klitschko's fight each other. I would LOVE to see that fight.

 

I want to see Gamboa/Juanma. Yuri is easy to flash (still has horrible balance and foot work), but he has unreal speed and power in both hands. Juanma definitely showed some flaws last fight, which makes this even more entertaining.

I think it will look a whole lot like his fight with Corrales. Most people were saying the same thing before that fight too.
