Rocket River -- No we should not force all women to wear pants. That is just ridiculous. Asking someone to uncover their face for 10 seconds for a driver's license photo is not ridiculous -- it is very reasonable. So I assume your point is then, "where do we draw the line"? It is a difficult question to answer, and one that will ultimately involve some type of subjective decision, like almost all other laws. The point being, a line needs to be drawn and it needs to make this practice of hiding your face from photo identification illegal. What this new age of security is about is making *small* sacrifices to contribute to the safety of others. No one here is saying that all people should be forced to walk nude through an airport so that we can make sure they don't have any weapons on them.
What, the King of Sarcasm doesn't recognize one of his Dukes?!! I would use the same kind of argument to gain some kind of control over the sale of assault rifles. Sometimes we can be too rooted in the past. Time to re-pot!
giddy, One of my Dukes? I think not. I gave your attempt the response it deserved and one in the same spirirt. I thought that BK and heb used more sarcasm than I...
In case you don't realize the difference, you target me with your sarcasm. I note theirs but it's not splattered all over my keyboard and screen. Admit it, you've got it in for me.... Didn't somebody say something about judging a man by the size of his enemies... or was it his friends... or could it be both?
