Haha, well what he should have seen instead is that Chinese (Oriental in general) people have larger, stubbier lower bodies. You don't see many streamlined El Greco body types.

i think yao needs to be less generous when giving out praises. it's not like players will give you more respect if you say nice things about them. being too nice is taken as a sign of weakness. yao has accomplished some nice things in the NBA. but hardly does he receive lavish praises from his fellow players, even from those who he dominated.
Some of you people think being nice and praising another player is a sign of weakness. In reality, it's mutual respect for your opponents. To some of you certain people that thinks they're hard, please don't try to act ghetto over the internet, we all know you're not so stop trying so hard.
I too think the criticisms of players' praise for one another is facile. The sports culture in this country, in my opinion, has gone to the dogs (the rabid ones, with sharp, pointy teeth).
yao is better skill wise, but howards athleticism and ferocity down low make him better than yao. ill bet you dwight howard would never get locked down by the likes of mehmet okur...... no doubt the rockets would be a better team with howard instead of yao. yao is a GREAT player no doubt, but id take howard over yao with NO HESITATION. what you see from yao right now, is all you are ever going to see. yao has just about reached his ceiling, but howard still has sooo much room for improvement and hes already a beast.
The Yao you are watching is not the one reaching the ceiling, definitely. Go and ask Shak in prime to try to attack the basket from high post and see what happens. Everyone should understand that Yao's tactical responsibilities is to create open space by drawing double team but not shoot the basket himself. This is completely different from last years when he weren't ask to pas out the ball. As a result he has to start attacking far from the basket and its very, very difficult for a CENTRE to start there. The one who are able to do this is Duncan. I am not optimistic for Howard either. Did anyone remember how Stoudemaire play before injury?
This team did much better without Tmaclady，they earned double OTs. Why the blind shooters always missed the shot when Yao got doubled even tripled and they got no one defence??!?!?!?!!?!?!?WHY?!?!?!Why the garbage got 20millions a year always pretend to be sick and quit games?!?!Garbage.THat's it.
