Jeff, right on! In fact, you should email your response to that writer.

I mean this guy blames everyone but Orlando Management, which is where the blame should be for creating their situation.

Honestly, I'm really not so excited about getting Juwan Howrd and Tyronne Lue. I wouldn't mind having Juwan Howard play off the bench and play Mo Tay's role and ship Mo Tay off for a starting banger /scorer type of 4/5 to play with Yao and Howard. I honestly believe that Mc Grady did not seem driven was because he was somewhat Pissed at the Orlando Organization. Once they realized he was a monster of a player I don't think they did a great effort in building around him. I have yet to see a great improvement to help Mcgrady. If Orlando told Steve the same vision and dream that was told to Mcgrady when Mcgrady signed as a Magic, then I see Steve getting extremely mad and looking lazy and undriven as well one day. Les and CD however are dedicated to improving this team and waste no time doing it. I might even say he will demand a trade out in a few years. If anything bothers me about T-mac, it would be his knees and back. I'm just hoping he won't be as bruised up and hurt.
Oh yeah I really wouldn't pay too much attention to news from this news paper. I doubt they've hired writers that have much knowledge of the NBA. Just look at this article. The writers still think the Hornets and Baron Davis will still be in the East which leads me to believe that they might not even realize that there will be three divisions in each conference.

I am psyched about getting T-Mac but I hope the trading and face lift does not end now.

Did he say Houston is ugly? I live in Orlando "The City Beautiful", and its like the ugliest major city I've ever seen.

Just a sad, pathetic article. I would say that I hope the Magic lose 60 games next year just for people like this guy, but I wouldn't want that for Steve, Cat and Cato.

Calling Houston ugly is just a cheapshot that has nothing to do with anything. He's just trying to make himself and the bitter Orlando fans feel better.

That picture doesn't look good...Cat and Steve remind me of Eli Manning at the draft, not wanting to hold that jersey up. I wonder if Orlando is still working a trade for Mobley...he sure doesn't look like he wants to be there.

I think the guy makes some legitimate points. Francis is a great and loyal teammate. I really respected the way he stood up to Amare Stoudemire last year. He's a fighter, and no way would he, Cat and Cato ever lose 21 games in a row. The Magic got chemistry as part of this trade. They really needed some of that. Hope they realize it and don't go trading these guys away.

My prediction is that the Magic finish as the same or higher seed in the Eastern Conference as the Rockets in the Western Conference. (Barring any further significant trades by either team).

They will be this year's Miami Heat. Good luck Steve, Cat and Cato.

Awwwwww, that should have never been thought, much less written, much less published.

A shot at "beautiful" Houston? I'll leave this one without a comment...

    J. Howard is inconsistent in his mid-range jump shot? Well, give a warm and heart-felt Florida "welcome" to the Jumpshot of Kelvin Cato, pure stroke of beauty.

Orlando Magic = New Detroit Pistons? Hmm, yeah! A big, defense oriented team with the best coach in the League = small unproven team with Johny Freaking Davis at the helm. Johny Davis is as close a thing to Larry Brown as Joe Kitna is to Joe Montana...

Something tells him that Grant Hill will be healthy. Grant Hill and his doctors said they didn't know how the ankle would hold up, I guess this guys posess some medical powers unknown to modern science... And look, I'll be happy for the guy to be healthy, it's just that even if you are healthy, you don't come back from 3 years of surgeries and play like a Grant Hill of old.

Bottomline is that their local paper is trying as hard as possible to stick their nose deeper in deVos's behind. The guy needs to sell tickets and the local media is happily obliged to prostitue itself in order to pimp the team to the fans.

We've seen it with the Chronicle, unfortunately as well. Remember last year when they tried to spin not signing Posey as a good thing and then trying to hype up the Pisskowski's of the team as something one should pay money to see? That's just the sad state of local media, no surpirses.

Dan Pat is dissing Hou on his show now.
Experts around league, Dr.Ramsey, Kerr, and others, are putting the Rockets on the elite team's map, and there are these idiots. Sure we dont know what's going to happen, but to say Rocket will not improve with T-Mac, man ... :mad
Remember Yao was supposed to be a bust.

I realized the ignorance of Dan Patrick last week when he had Feigen on along with his Orlando counterpart to talk about the potential trade. I was quite shocked to see him practically ignore what Feigen had to say and zoom in on the Orlando conspiracy theories.

I like the positin analysis with Detroit, but what about with our Rockets?

    Fisher/Snow/Lue/Gaines, etc v. Franchise - advantage Orlando
McGrady v. Cat - advantage Houston
    J. Jackson v. G. Hill - advantage Houston (assuming Hill not 100%)
    J. Howard v. Howard - advantage Houston
    Y. Ming v. K. Cato - advantage Houston
JVG v. who? - advantage Houston
    bench - push

So basically, they have us at one position. You could argue some of these, but I think we at minimum have the better prospects.

I love by the way how the guy critiques the hell out of Howard's contract. I assume he'd just never heard of Kelvin Cato.
