    I agree

While I know this is total Spin
At least the realize they did not get TOTALLY screwed in this
    deal

They *WILL* field a more credible team next year
    than they did this year

This is like that bully in middle school that makes fun of a smart "nerdy" kid to make himself feel better about being so damn stupid.
"Yeah... well... you look dumb in those glasses you... you... Nerd!"

Coming from a person who has accused Mobley and Francis of not passing to Yao on purpose I would think you know its both. But maybe that's to logical.

    Mr. Kerasotis,

It's "yin" and "yang" if you don't mind. You don't make a good writer. And you definitely don't make a good basketball analyst. I think maybe you should go back to covering little league or sport fishing.

Here's what's so sad about this and, at the same time, what's so great about Houston.

In Orlando, not exactly topping the list on most beautiful places unless you could the plywood facades at Mickey's place, you have a bitter writer who decides to take pot shots not only at the player who chose to exit the city, but the role players who went with him and, worse yet, at the city who got him as if we are to blame for their failings.

In Houston, while not beautiful, certainly less plastic and annoying than Disney-town, we have writers saying classy things about our players who are leavintg. We praise them for being good guys who often took too much of the blame for an underachieving team. We wish them well in their new home.

What this guy did was demonstrate just how small, sad and inconsequential he is through a bitter, jaded diatribe that sounded more like a jaded boyfriend than a sportswriter. Frankly, Tracy will be better off here if this is what he had before.

    Classless!

Now I can understand why TMAC wants out of that mess. Before last season, the guy single handedly carry the team to as far as they could go. What a shame such crap could even be published.

For crying out loud, we just compeleted trade. Why so negative? JVG is jvg for what he had done. Let's put some faith in this new squad. We had given two seasons to Stevie and Cat. The pieces didnt fit in Houston as Doug Collins put. There might be a better solution to the problems we had as there is always, but you gotta be happy with getting rid of what was not working for a offensively talented young player. Let's just wait and see.

The wirter is a moron with no logic, no reasoning whatsoever. I remember when Jordan quit playing for Wizards two years ago, none of his teammates said goodbye to him, no happy hours. Did that indicate what kind of player Jordan was throughout his career. What a moron to pick up chicken shiat like that and print it. I kinda feel bad to ship SF,Cat and Cato there, hope they will be liked there.

What you ought to apologize for is not knowing what a dangling participle is. A dangling participle is a misplaced modifier, typically a verb ending in ing-- watching TV last night, a grizzly bear ate my balls, which logically is interpreted as meaning that the ball-eating grizzly bear was watching TV.

It's not the same thing as ending a sentence with a preposition, which is what Mr. Keratosis did accomplish. It's not even in the same family of grammatical errors. Perhaps I'm naive but I would expect someone who writes for a living to know that.

Then again, this is a sportswriter we're talking about. Guy's day is a success if both his socks match.

As opposed to the Disneyfied sprawl of Orlando, a glorified trailer park that couldn't take a hint and kept growing...?

    Jeff,

I agree with most of what you said, but Orlando is a beautiful city for the most part. I grew up there and wish Houston would clean up it's act a little more. I agree that there is a lot of ugly things about Orlando, but it's really in Kissimmee near Walt Disney World.

But you are right, this guy is an idiot in a one team sports town who obviously doesn't get out much. Kinda sad when you think about it.

Somebody email this idiot and let us know what he says.

This guy ranks right up there with the moron from Salt Lake City who said Yao would be a bust.
