I've been to Lakewood. Lakewood is for "infant" Christians. As you mature in the world you outgrow Lakewood quickly. I personally wouldn't send anyone to Lakewood unless I didn't care about their salvation.

Well, nothing like suing the wife of a megachurch pastor for some good old-fashioned attention-whoring.

Justice, I hope she had to pay court costs.

Losers should always have to pay court costs.....to stop frivilous lawsuits.....

If not everything then some fine.

So, the money part came out and she is wanting $420,000? Umm...yea...I don't think Preparation H costs that much. And, we're certainly not paying you because you lost faith in God. She's a stupid ho IMO. I hope she gets run over by a car on the way out the courthouse for wasting everyone's time.

I like how she said her lost faith was worth $200,000 :D

I actually just ran the numbers. If she purchased from an on-line Canadian pharmacy, she could buy 2.25 tons of Prep H with that sum. Yuck.

They do have to pay if the courts actually find it frivolous, but just because you lose a case doesn't make it frivolous.

To apply a rule where you would fine someone for losing any case would be terrible. Think of the implications. Plaintiffs lawyers would only pursue whales of cases, the poor who were actually harmed by a large corporation would find it even more difficult to sue (because they'd be afraid of having to pay out of pocket), and large corporations would have more leverage in settlement negotiations. The system makes sense as it exists now - to punish the losing party a second time would be a travesty. Again, just because you lose, doesn't make it frivolous. (Note: I'm not talking about this case specifically)
