Storm was by far the BEST X-men character in the Comics in the movies. . .not so much [THANK YOU HALLE!!!! ] THe Beast looks Kewl Angel's wings look . .. too white. . not like a bird's white wings I guess they suppose to be angelic .. but it makes them look more artificial Gambit is a johnny come lately of X-men His character is a'ight at best Wish they could have worked in BISHOP Hell , ,. It is odd that we only see him in the lake scene of the trailer. Looks like this may have one heck of a body count. Did Angel show up anywhere besides flying out of that building? Seemed like they might lightly touch on the Genosha stuff with a US-based concentration camp. Evan
I'm still not too happy with Rattner and the way Foxed shoved this through the production process, but the trailer did look good so maybe they were able to pull it off. There were quite a few spoilers in the trailer, btw. SPOILERS Cyclops is killed by Jean. Besides the floating sun glasses, we see Storm over his body. Jean Kills Prof. X. You see Wolverine crying like a b**** and Storm holding him in front of his empty chair. Shouldn't it be the other way around??? Mystique gets "cured." At least we get to see Rebecca Romijn naked without the blue paint and prosthetetics.
Not really a spoiler, they did include it in the trailer... most people (even non X-Men fans like myself) came to that conclusion on their own.
As someone who cares little about the comic book version of things, I thought the trailer looked awesome. Really super excited about it.

Yeah I know, I think the two that are in talks are a Magneto and Wolverine spin off but I think I remember Avi Arad saying this was the last X-men group film and that its set up as a trilogy
All I'm saying is if they took an awesome script and made it crappy because Halle Berry's whining and complaining when she's under contract, I'm going to be pissed.
Yeah. I thought Halle Berry was a poor choice from the beginning. I always thought Angela Basett would have been a better Storm.
Well I finally got the chance to check out the new trailer... ...and it didn't really impress me that much. I think the teaser did more to raise my hopes than this one. Sure there were some cool moments, but overall it didn't peak my interest. There were some cheesy lines and action; Storm's line "If you're with us be with us" almost rivals the infamous toad/lightning punchline from the first film. The effects weren't too breathtaking. The story seemed a little too similar to the second one; trying to get ride of all mutants, only by curing them instead of killing them. And through the whole trailer I had this feeling like this movie would probably be awesome if it was building up to something (i.e. Sentinels and a full out war in the next film(s)). But no, for whatever reason they want to end the franchise by killing two main characters. I think at this point, I'm almost wishing for this movie to bomb. Even if it does turn out good, I don't think it'll reach the quality and success of X2.
Curing the mutants? Sounds a lot like the storyline of Joss Whedon's recent Astonishing X-Men run, though some element of that wouldn't really jive with the setup from the first 2 movies.
No, that's Multiple Man in his yellow dotted suit or a demon form Magik. I've never liked any of the X-Men movies. Everything could have been done so much better.
