    Peavy's contract is the least of the Astros' concerns with regards to acquiring him.

    Just in case this isn't sarcasm, wouldn't this come out of the Harris County Sports Authority budget and not the Astros' budget?

    Regardless of where it comes from , this sounds like a positive ROI project. From the sounds of it, the new grass will be easier to grow, likely requiring less watering, fewer hours of maintenance, and less replacement.

    This probably saves money on an annual basis.
