Jalen Green averaged 13pts vs a 23 yr old James Harden averaged 26pts harden quit but JG didn't even show up to begin with being a Rockets fan who experienced Harden in the playoffs, JGs 13pt playoffs is major red flag which is why the team got rid of him waybefore any of the young core.
I still think if Harden kept his OKC shape for the last eight years this could have been another storyline. Harden was too thicc and Green was too thin, also Harden was too aloof and Green was too scared during the Playoffs.
He let us down in his first playoff series in a series we weren’t favored to win. I don’t see how that’s more concerning than a guy who consistently disappeared in multiple elimination games. Jalen didn’t play like an MVP and then fall off a cliff when it mattered.
6 games out of 7 and that 1 finals series was enough for Sam Presti so those 6 games were enough for Stone Ime and the rockets too
That one year was indeed higher than anything Durant ever did during the regular season. Still, it's hard to go against KD on this one.
Harden > Durant Reminder that Durant also failed when he was the main guy. Harden would also win titles if joined GS. And btw, he was one hamstring injury away from defeating that same "super" GSW.
