I know there would still be audio recordings of what he could say even if his mic was cut off but IMHO it would make it easier for his deflectors to say the media deep faked it or some other bullshit. I just think the less plausible deniability you can give his supporters when he's habitually offensive, the better. For the good of the nation, I hope Trump becomes even more unfiltered than he already is, so even less excuses can be given to justify support of him. I know his existing base are dug in like ticks no matter what, but I say, let Trump put his foot in his mouth as much as he wants on live TV. I know people on this BBS will still try to justify the offensive things the President says and does but when you can simply reply back footage of what Trump said on live TV, it really nips the routine, "What he really meant to say..." crowd in the bud.
This guy is mentally unfit to run. Seriously, he is a psychopath. His narcissism keeps him from seeing the rule truth. People around the world were disgusted with him. His immaturity and downright lying on national TV is pathetic. He made a fool of himself and doesn't even realize it. That's sad.
