First Presidential Debate

Even before this weekend Biden already had a lot of ammunition coming in. That said though the risk with debating Trump is it isn't going to be about facts. We know Trump is going to lie anyway. Trump supporters know he's going to lie and exaggerate.

If Biden spends his whole time attacking Trump and going insult for insult with him I don't think that helps him. This one where character and demeanor will matter. I think Biden really needs to speak to what sort of President he will be and based on more than just the contrast with Trump.

 

The day before south park comes back too. Yippy!

 

Joe just needs to avoid showing that he is triggered by the lame Trump insults.

 

I am worried that Trump will lie on EVERYTHING and the moderator won't call out his BS, the man lies so much that telling the truth would shock me

- Predict Biden would withdraw from primary debates.
- Zero change Biden agrees to any debate.
- Was sure Biden will "test positive" for Covid and skip the debate.

 

don’t let Trump get away with a single lie

lay out what u will do for the American people, and the extent of the damage Trump has done...expose how he promises a bunch of sh*t, but gets nothing done

expose how lying about and disregarding science has caused us to bungle Coronavirus so badly and crater the economy...show how countries with a plan and belief in science have done battling the virus

Chris Wallace is going to SKEWER both Biden and Trump.

I am surprised that either of them agreed to have him moderate.

Literally all Wallace does every day is think of ways to expose politicians as the vapid liars and empty suits that they are.

 

I expect this to be an embarrassing cluster**** for the entire country.

I wish these debates wouldn't happen. Each candidate should just take turns having a live, 3-hour sit-down discussion with an interviewer. That way they have time to actually expand on any ideas they might have, and it would be infinitely harder for one to throw out some empty catchphrase because the interviewer could ask follow-up questions.

The incumbent gets 4 years. That should do it for them.

 

Trump could take a crap on stage and it wouldn't matter, Biden could stutter his ass off and it wouldn't matter...the voters have already made their minds up. These debates are just formalities...

 

Chris Wallace as a moderator is a great choice.
