Similar to what seems to have happened with Parker Posey, Kal Penn from Harold & Kumar plays a goofy henchman to Lex Luthor. It isn't Ned Beatty's character, but he fills the same role.
The 1978 Superman movie is on right now and boy is it horrible. Superman can somehow hold up the San Andreas Fault at one little point in the fault and can stop the waters rushing from the destroyed Hoover Dam with two boulders. He rules!!!
Superman stands alone. Superman did not become Superman, Superman was born Superman. When Superman wakes up in the morning, he is Superman. His alter ego is Clark Kent. His outfit with the big red S is the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby when the Kents found him. Those are his clothes. What Kent wears, the glasses the business suit, that’s the costume. That’s the costume Superman wears to blend in with us. Clark Kent is how Superman views us. And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent? He’s weak, unsure of himself… he’s a coward. Clark Kent is Superman’s critique on the whole human race, sort of like Beatrix Kiddo and Mrs. Tommy Plumpton.
I think it's funny that adults get so obsessive over things like Superman's costume. Ha! And Binksy, one of my 395 collectible Beanie Babies, just whispered in my ear that y'all are a bunch of freaks! You tell 'em Binksy, you tell 'em! I'm so sad, someone hold me.
