I knew that someone would say that and that is such crap. The network stations have shows that are aimed at people other than anglos and the Emmy's and Oscars have people win other than anglos. To say otherwise is ridiculous.

How about the BBC, is that Anglo enough for you? I don't know about you, but we even have BBC-Canada.

I guess that the awards people discriminated against all of the minorities. I'm sure that there are people that were much more deserving but that they didnt win because they were not white. I get so tired of hearing this sob story. I guess that those people should give back their awards because they are so tainted by the controversy of racial bias.

It probably serves the same purpose as the Irish (and many non-Irish Americans) celebrating St. Patrick's Day.

I thought that Shawshank was a great movie and Morgan Freeman was amazing, but he was not better than Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump. Tom Hanks was unbelievable and everyone knew it. Hanks didnt get the award because he was white. Denzel Washington in The Hurricane should have won the award over Kevin Spacey in American Beauty but I dont think he lost because he was black. I defintely have to go with Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman over Denzel in Malcolm X also.

That is a crock also. St. Patricks Day celebrates an Irish Saint that converted many people to christianity. It is the day that St. Patrick died. It doesnt celebrate the independence day of another country. St. Patricks Day is (ironically) a day to party and get drunk. Cinco de Mayo is celebrating and honoring another country in the same spirit that the Fourth of July does for America. I served in the Navy for the United States. I dont give two craps about Mexico and their independence. If you love Mexico so much, go live there. Dont go waving your stupid flag all over the place and try to tell me how great Mexico is. There is a bill in California to make Cinco de Mayo a holiday. That is a freaking joke. I am not saying this to pick on hispanics because I would feel the same way about any other country or people that did that in my country. Just like I said before, I doubt that the Fourth of July is such a big holiday in Mexico and they would feel the same as I do if the roles were reversed.
