kerry: must pass the test, must pass the test...so why won't he release his academic records? kim chung il?
Bush does have a point regarding NK. We do need some help from countries like China and Russia on the issue.
I'm sorry but Bush is just so hard to watch and listen to. I want to listen, I really do. He makes it almost impossible. Bring back Lisa Malosky. I think Bush just wants to go home.
there's certainly room to attack bush on iraq, but it comes from the right in my opinion. kill the bastards in fallujah, for instance. shouldn't have pulled back then.
there it is. overall, both had there moments. kerry was better than i expected- more direct, less rambling, well rehearsed. bush was bush, up and down. on balance, i thought W won on poinnts, Kerry on presentation. perhaps kerrry picked up a point tonight.
Bush is hammering libya and a single kerry quote to death. Kerry is being very broad, but seems way more composed. Bush doesn't lose any votes here, but Kerry probably gained a few undecideds because of his better style and less repetitive, simplistic message.
Kerry won easily. If Bush wins the election after this, I'm horribly sad to say that America deserves its fate.
I give the edge to Bush. Kerry confused me. Kerry's position on on Iraq is clear as mud. Global warming treaty? Was he talking about Kyoto? That was a unanimous vote in Congress against it. Is Kerry now defending that? Kerry wants to "go it along in North Korea?" HUH? He lost me.
Both candidates did what they wanted to do. It was a very boring, you knew what was coming debate. Neither won; both solidified their base.
