I'm surprised it took TWO whole pages for someone to say this..... For a first date, you cannot go worng with D&B. You get dinner time, and almost guarantee the date wont get boring for her. Good luck mate!
Dave & Busters for a first date seems tacky to me. It is definitely something you can do once you are a few dates in, and then she'll be more comfortable with you and you both will have a lot of fun. But I'd imagine for a first date, it'd be awkward. Why hasn't sushi been mentioned? It's trendy and it doesn't leave you and your date feeling full and there is no bad smell on your breath or on your clothes. It also allows sharing of each others food, which is a huge plus. The only issue is if she doesn't like sushi which is understandable. Sushi isn't such a big thing in Texas, but its at least worth a try to see if she likes it. Just have a good back up plan if her eyes don't lighten up when you mention sushi as a possibility. I definitely need pics to make a proper evaluation though.
I would skip dinner. Unless u know for sure what she likes. Nothing worse than being unablr to decide when y'all meet up. Another issue with food is I often get gas and end up holding in a fart longer than id like to. Its a possibility of this happening to her. A light meal would be cool. Drinking isn't always necessary of course it loosens people up but this is your "first impression". Youre responsible and she should be too. No drinking and driving. I took a chick bowling and she had fun even though she didn't really want to. Just compliment and make the date fun. If u keep her interested in convo that's all u need. She'll have a good time regardless of how lame the date it. Wasn't much help probably, but had to say something. 1st post.
what a way to end my work day. i couldnt stop laughing at this! ok please teach me to post successful comments and threads
Anne Hathaway, in the Anne Hathaway. We don't say p**per here. Backdoor Sushi is also acceptable, thats what she said. I had to. The best thing to do on a first date? Not sure. I've been lucky, I date friends that are girls, so first dates are just like hanging out with the possibility of hank panky at the end.
I wouldn't take her to Champps if I were you. It's more of a sports bar atmosphere that seems like the place you would go with the boys, not on a first date. I did go there on a business lunch recently though and the Balsamic Chicken was good, so try that if you do end up going. I would recommend taking her to a tex-mex restaurant with a good atmosphere. Then maybe hit up a nearby wine bar afterwards. El Tiempo or Chuy's would fit the bill nicely.
you could soak her in gasoline and threaten to light her ass up if she doesnt do dirty things to you?? or you could take her to a Jason Mraz concert. Well those are things I would do.
