Well it's a first date. Should be more of a social atmosphere rather than a serious "romantic" mood. IMO.

 

Champps is a pretty cool place in Uptown Park. The food is good.

 

Is this before or after the thadeus' date with her?

If before, she will likely have her mind on other things (like, the thadeus, for example). Plan accordingly - physical activities fit here... drinking, dancing, etc. If you can get her drunk enough, you might get lucky and she will mistake you for the thadeus. Things may progress in your favor, until of course, she comes recovers and figures out why things were so poorly executed on your side (remember, you aren't actually the thadeus).

If afterwards, she will likely be quite exhausted physically... and her mind will probably still be on the thadeus. Will he call? (The answer is no.) Will I see him again? (Again, probably no... afterall, the thadeus has already long since moved on). She will find you boring, and the date will end early. Plan other solo activities for the remainder of the evening.

good point, I guess it depends on how long they have been talking.

If you have a nice murmur in the room you can get the girl talking, unless she is incredibly boring or high strung it usually turns out ok.

 

Ok first thing you do is take her to a Resturant called Maria Selma on Richmond close to Downtown. Maria Selma isn't to expensive but also not dirt cheap but after dinner make sure you order the chocolate flan which will basically close the deal for you sir! Drinks are kinda of expensive, atleast the good ones, so try going to Capones, recommended by another thread I created, for drinks and finish the deal!!!

 

Tasting Room is also good, but not a regular dinner place

You need to be more specific as far as your budget. Also, will you two be drinking during or after dinner? What kind of food are you wanting to avoid?

I can recommend a lot of good spots, but I'm not sure what you are looking to spend

As for what to do....
Hispanic women from katy are used to guys going out of their way for them. So throughout your dinner, let her know that you won't have none of that. Pretend you're bored even.

By the time you leave the restaurant, that's when you should start making your move. Trust me, by the end of the night, she is going to be wanting you to hit that. Or you can always get her drunk, but I don't like doing that, only because I wouldn't want her to walk 'the walk of shame'. I want them to be obsessed with me throughout their entire lives. ( I also don't drink)

If you just want to be causual not too romantic, how about Kona Grill or Cheesecake factory, then maybe go to RA for drinks like someone else mentioned..
