Really? I was a huge fan of the early 300 series that I never even liked the 260 or 280 series. Of course this was my only Z, but I loved it, and I've been in the newer ones...
1982 Pontiac 6000 What a piece this car was. The front struts were gone, so every time I went over a bump, the front end would bounce up and down for 20 mins.
1969 Ford Mustang I gave it to my brother after High School and he converted it to a 1/4 mile racer...... DD
1996 Jeep Cherokee Country. You'd better believe this baby got both the kids to soccer practice and me to high school on time. Finally got rid of it last month because I couldn't afford a 13 mpg car anymore and the needed repairs were adding up. I do miss the leather seats and the comfort of knowing that nobody would try to break into it.
If this were a contest for who owned the ugliest first car, I would win. I had a 1972 AMC Gremlin, faded green, back panel under the hatch glass was dented in due to a rear end collision before I got it. As a result of that collision, it was totaled cause it was only worth about 200 dollars at that point. So my grandmother gave it to me, and I drove it to school as a senior. It was a surprisingly reliable car for its age and mileage. I carted myself and my friends around to many many parties in that thing.
Yup I was a big Z person growing up. I wanted the late model series but couldn't afford it and then wanted a 87 model but couldn't afford it at the time. Parents knew I wanted a Z so they got my the 280zx. Fit the budget at the time but damn that car was fast and had major options for a 1979 car.
Ill tell you why I love the WW movies so much, I used to hang with people who were A LOT like the characters portrayed in them. and yes, I was the Wayne of the group
