Count me out, it is supposed to be cold and rainy on Sunday, maybe we should push it back a week.

Well, it's hopefully supposed to be indoors. Plus, we've got people that have already planned on coming from as far away as the Valley. But, count DaDakota out.

Any one know anything about the Dell Parmer courts?

Sorry, was at jury duty all day yesterday.

The Dell Parmer court is outdoors.

Take IH-35 North, exit Parmer. Turn right on Parmer (exit 245).

Go down Parmer and take a right at the 2nd light.

There will be a Dell facility on your right. I believe you would want to enter at maybe the second right. The court is kind of back between a couple of buildings. I believe there's a volleyball court right next to it.

This should be enough to get you there.

    Cold and rainy? Yikes.

Gosh, sounds like an injury waiting to happen....

Next weekend anyone? Who is with me? We could probably even do it at the YMCA on an INDOOR court.

I could check on it, if you guys like.

A high of 38 degrees! Oh my!

Next weekend is better for me, but I wouldn't want to speak for others who have made efforts to schedule their time for this.

Da, would you mind checking about this weekend for the YMCA? I'm cool with any other time, I just feel bad about the others that are driving such long distances (even though I can't control the weather...yet).

    I'd really appreciate it.

    RM95,

This weekend is unavailable. I think you guys are stuck at the Dell courts.

Next weekend is better, people can change their plans.

    :)

When I used to live in Austin, we played basketball at a school for the blind in the north end of town. Maybe someone should check there. Sorry but I can't remember the name of it.

It's indoors. Pretty nice gym.... 25 years ago.

If you guys do it next weekend, I may be down in Austin on business and promise to bring a video camera. I'll be the dude in a dress shirt, slacks, holding a camera, and heckling... :D

I really would rather not drive thru the storm on Saturday, nor play in it Sunday.

Next weekend is out. It's the season ending tournament for all my teams, and I may be coaching as many as 9 games next weekend. The following two weekends after that I'm working. DAMN! I was sooo hyped up!

For me, this is gonna have to be put on hold for awhile....sorry guys!

hmm, outside court + bad weather?

Nope, don't think so :) I've played in cold rain before, but only underneath a pavillion.

Just schedule it for some other time. Next weekend is the beginning of my spring break. I'll probly be free.

And try to get an indoors court purty please. My shins like the hardwood much better.

He He. That's almost central Austin now. I believe the place he's talking about is around 45th street a block from Lamar pretty close to campus if someone down there can check. I use to always pass the sign for it when I was at UT.

Ok, really tacky question alert, but why does the School for the Blind have a basketball court?
