Aww.. man, I wished I lived somewhere even near TEXAS :( I mighta' been able to make it, so y'all could use me as a stepping stone to the hoop. Seriously, is somebody going to videotape? Heck, just put a camera on the bleachers or have the bench warmer record it. I'll PAY to see that :D

I can play, but I also pass. In other words I am the Jason Kidd or even better yet, the white Isaiah Thomas/Dennis Rodman of Clutch City because I am not afraid to take it to ANYONE and I can set you up for many wide open looks. Actually I get pretty pissed off when people try and create once I get them open, so in other words if I drive and draw your man and pass it to you, don't dribble, just shoot. If you miss, I'll track down the board.

Dell Parmer courts... hmmm... tight rims.... hmmm..... no good for most shooters... hmmm....

how about if I just move the Bronco out of the driveway and we play at my house? I'm about 5 blocks west of Parmer/620 intersection. Besides, does anybody who spends this much time on a BBS really think they can run full?

Behad, you'd actually have to get off the ground to have a chance at keeping a rebound from me!

    ;)

Sure, but probably not for more than 2-3 games unless I'm really energized.

A couple weeks ago, i went to the rec down in pearland to hoop with my homepeep david. I was ready for a good, fun game of flashy street basketball, and that's what it was, just a lot of jokin' around and having fun. That is, until the white dudes came. It all went downhill from there...these dudes looked like they came for work. Instead of the fast paced, exciting crazy passing and dunk fest it quickly transformed into a game of dudes cutting to the basket, organized plays and rare crossovers. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the white man's game, but this has always happened when I've played with white people. So you might be saying, "whats the point of this story?" As always, there is none, I just felt like getting it off my chest, because those non-flashy white dudes kicked our ghettofab asses 15-7.

Come on, I need directions. Pued, Crisco, and anyone else, e-mail me at blake@corp.swirve.com, and I'll give you my cell phone number so we can be in touch if we can't get the directions figured out before Friday.

I know it's short notice, but is anyone up for starting a pool.....20 bucks gets you in, and there are a number of ways to win:

    1. Injured player - you predict who will get injured and what type of injury, you gets some cash.

    2. Vomit - You predict who throws up first, you gets some cash. If you can predict what game it happens in, you win even more. Of course, there's a decent chance only one game will be played...can't lose!!!

    3. Lowest shooting percentage - self-explanatory

    4. Of course, you have to have a Plays of the Day

See, this thing about not knowing where the courts are is a slight obstacle to this game.

Its on Parmer, I've driven Parmer plenty, I'll go look for them tonight and post any results, if I have some. . .
