    Yao DOES deserve the spot if you could have a look at the centers in the Western Conference.

    Are these fans just trying to humiliate Yi? LOL Yi must be very embarrassed himself.

    Ok it makes sense now...

    T-Mac decided to come back from his injury early because of three reasons:

    1. He saw the All-Star balloting returns
    2. Ron Artest is out 2 games
    3. We suck lately

    All star is a huge popularity contest. Whoever that have a bigger fan base wins. I seriously doubt that Yi will make it to the all-stars, even if he did, he may be in the all time shortest playing time list. 5 min?

    Talking about China votes, where is Sun Yue? He just got some playing time earlier this week. :)

    yi being so high actually tells 2 things:

    #1, the chinese sure have their big influence in the balloting;

    #2, that influence alone is NOT big enough to turn yi (or yao, wang) into an allstar.

    btw, yi is nothing special imo. he's about half who bosh is right now.

    Just can't believe Joe johnson and Harris is down there even below ridnour.. But if the system still the same, then no worries. Both Joe Johnson and Harris will be in the East bench instead of Ridnour.

    lets be fair, this is an allstar game, meaning fans around the world gets to vote for their favor players. Whether that individual deserve it or not, that's another story.

    PLease people keep in mind that Yao's jersey wasn't the highest selling ones in China. Kobe and LBJ and AI clearly told more.

    Remember last year when Yi wasn't even on the ballot as a rookie yet scola, durant...were on. How fair was that?

    Tracy McGrady [332,222] is getting more vote than Tony Parker? Although I do not like the Spurs, this just doesn't feel right.

    I don“t think that is really odd, as Parker seems to be an underappreciated player around the league, same as ginobili, for playing alongside Duncan.
