No one can win it all alone. This is because it is a team sport. Even players like Hakeem, Chamberlain, and Jordan needed help to win. Hakeem had an entire team of great complementary players the first time around and had Drexler the 2nd year. Jordan needed Pippen and Chamberlain needed Russell.

Kobe would have asked to be traded. Funny people bash Bron for leaving Cleveland after spending years there but not many bash Kobe for apparently demanding a trade on draft night or w/e he told Charlotte
The last time I checked, this thread had nothing to do with Kobe. The Cavs went from like 65 wins to being on the verge of having the longest losing streak in the history of the NBA. Nuff said.
Yes it is. The rings argument is funny though for a lot of reasons. Both were drafted into two different situations. One in which most superstars would have won a title if they started their career with who Kobe started his with. The other I don't see any superstar in the league who would have been able to build up Cleveland from the bottom and then win a Championship with those teams.
Kobe would have been ringless with Mike Brown and Mo Williams, while Phil and Shaq would still have rings with LeBron. Unless, either player is a dominate Hakeem, they can't win it alone.
Can't say I'm surprised by a 51 point game from LerBon. He's a scoring machine. These things are expected of him. Now if he really wants to impress... win the slam dunk contest.
I hate Lebron... but these KOFS need to get it right... Kobe isn't the best player in the league anymore. Maybe top 5 but no where near Lebron's level.
How about this...Stop the LeBron hate, and praise when praise is deserved. Let him prove doubters wrong, and be happy for him if he wins in the Heat. But people, leave Kobe the **** alone! Geez can't an all-time great get any respect at the tailing end of his career? I mean here's probabaly the most dedicated student of the game, who has far exceeded his expectations comng into the league, and who's proven time to time that he's got the guts to win. We ask what is wrong with the league today. Nothing, but there's something about the fans. Can't we all just enjoy some basketball?
butthurt kobe stans are usually the epicenter of the kobe hate". they are notorious all over the internet for being the worst fans in sports. everybody respects kobe but hates his legion of stans...and I'm pretty sure he dislike him to. lebron drops 50 and kobe stans get defensive. hilarous
That was a monster game by Griffin, but he only had 3 assists. Lebron had 8 assists last night, so he was responsible for at least (not counting three-pointers off those assists) 14 more points.
I heard about it, saw 1 minute of highlights on the local news, and didn't think much of it. And then I saw Dwyer's article just now: The rest of the article, here. I might need to download this game somewhere.
