You can't really look at it that way though ... That's like saying what's worse ... armed robbery or murder? Just because one is worse than the other, it doesn't make it right. I think Fireworks are fine as long as people do stuff that stays on the ground ... when you start hitting other people's houses with fireworks, its rude and dangerous.
I was tempted to call the cops last night but it ended around 12:30 or so and thats when I usually go to bed so it wasn't that bad. But it was freaking loud, much louder than thunder, and it really freaked out my usually composed dog. Smelled bad too. I don't mind the usual fireworks(blackcats, bottle rockets, roman candles, etc), but whatever they were firing was the heavy duty stuff. I mean geez, if you're going to plunk down good $$$ for the crap, you can manage to drive a lil ways out of the city to pop those ****ers.
Right after the fireworks show ended here, some idiot shot a flare gun over a neighborhood. Sad to say the flare lasted longer then the show did.
