    Why would Tellem risk his relationship with one of his most promising clients for a guy who will likely never earn a big contract for the rest of his career?

    Besides, I don't see Sac being a bad place for McGrady to land. They just wanted his expiring contract. They'll probably buy him out and he can go sign with NY for the minimum. I would think that's a better situation for McGrady anyway. That way, his new team doesn't give up any assets. They're stuck with Jeffries and can't afford two max contracts, which would be good for McGrady. If NY picked up two max guys next season, NY wouldn't have money for him.

    I get that we get a pick and we swap a pick but why take on jefferies contract?

    Were we not okay with just dealing with the kings?

    I bet Morey likes what he see's as a possible pick using that Knicks pick?

    Also he must have wanted Hill, combine that with picks and it cost Jeffries.

    As for me I wasnt happy with just KMartin alone.
