Now that sounds more like a Morey deal.

If it goes through, I'd want to see Smoothie do a video of this trade.

As long as we end up with the better overall deal + Martin, I'll be happy.

So what if Evans is also represented by Tellem? An agent's job is to do what's best by his client, not to screw one client over to punish a team for not complying with his demands regarding a different client.

I thought T-Mac wanted to play in NY? Why would his agent set off fireworks in celebration to the fact that he won't get traded to NY?

15 players? Dont make sence maybe and all teams pull out, than deadline passes and no deal is done. Its like some built in strategy. Why does Jeffries have to automatically be attached to any McGrady trade period is a mystery 'if' this is the case.

Exactly, it might spread and infect the team.

Evans is on a rookie scale contract. He won't be a free agent for half a decade. He can't really be used for leverage by some pushy agent.

agents have egos as well of being able to get what they want.

arn has his rep on the line he is the league's most powerful agent (represents a lot of ppl) and imagine if his client says I WANT to play in NY and he doesnt make it happen? his rep takes a hit and future business and current players will take note of it.

he may force sac to do a sign and trade with evans the guy is a rookie and cna get a lot of money still and other teams will be after evans. this wouldnt be the first time an agent gets his client to sign somewhere he didnt really want to (elton brand?)

We'll see, but something tells me the deal is being held hostage untill the deadline passes, but it's all their fault and Les is the one paying for it maybe and that wont be pretty.
