Red will never come off the bench...

if we want lights-out 3-point shooters, we can wait till Kyle Korver and Casey Jacobsen become free agents next year...they should come relatively cheap...

you guys are silly.. Mobley will be a free-agent at the end of this year I believe. Instead of paying boat loads of money for Redd, we should just focus on trying to get Mobley back in a Rockets jersey. I dont think there is a better 2 gaurd off the bench than him! We could maybe even slide Tmac over to the 3 and bring Mobley in as the shooting guard. OR maybe Mobley can play a more mature point guard role like he did when he was a rookie? I really like the idea of having Mobley back!!

Man i thought we were done with these crazy and stupid trade ideas when the offseason ended. I guess some people just have too much time and very little sense.

    1) Good thread! Oh by the way, can we swing a deal for Kobe, Garnett, and Bibby whille we're at it. Then we can solve our PF and PG problems, and we can have Kobe come off the bench to backup TMac.

    2) Regarding Allan Houston, we didn't need to wait to see how that was definitely overpaying for him. At the time, the Knots had nothing else to do with the moola, so they just threw it all at him. Typical front office mistake from that organization. Redd may end up being the same story, but we'll see how that comes out.
