If you're using Firefox 2 beta 2, I don't think smoothwheel will work.

But, as far as the address bar stuff being saved, I think it still saves what you've used since you last opened the program. Try closing it out and re-opening it.

My Firefox icons on the bottom Windows toolbar is the same color as my Winamp toolbar icon. So often times it takes me a few seconds to figure out which one is the Winamp and which one is the Firefox toolbar.

Is there any way that the color of either toolbar icon?

Its a minor frustration, but I would be so much happier if this could be fixed.

Links are different from info and search bar data. Search bar data is what you type in google or yahoo when you search for stuff, or when you type in a username for a website.

To erase saved urls go to tools-->options-->privacy-->history tab and then set it to save URLs for 0 days.

I think that should fix it.

I'm using IE 7 beta right now, and it is light years better than IE 6. It has tabbed browing also and is very quick.

So back to my original question, has anyone tried out the new beta version of Firefox?

I deleted firefox this morning. It was too slow for me. And the auto scroll was really a pain. Once they fix that, I'll go back.

For now Im going to try IE 7.

I like flashblock. Keeps me from having to see (or download) unwanted flash apps on web pages. Especially useful on pages with a ton of ads.
