Are you clicking on them from the links in the toolbar? That's strange. I did have a point where I had to click them all to get the favicons back, but once I clicked the link once it saved the favicon. I am sorry! Hopefully someone else knows the secret.

WOW, I am hating FF3 so much. It crashes so often for me. I have like 7 tabs open, click a link in one and BOOM. Please report the reason for the crash blah blah blah. I was almost donw filling out a TAA residential application. UGH! I'm going back to FF2 Anyone else having these crashing issues?
FF3 has been a dream come true for me. My 6 year old laptop has a new lease on life. The jump in speed from FF2/IE7 is remarkable. This old P4 1.6 would give choppy playback on youtube and other flash video sites, and very slow response on Gmail. The difference in speed with FF3 is remarkable. Flash performance and Gmail are the best they have ever been. It hasn't crashed on me at all.
Turns out it was a Mac issue. I found the fix here along with a lot more really good tips for Firefox 3. http://lifehacker.com/396312/power-users-guide-to-firefox-3
Can someone tell me how to get the firefox icon onto my desktop. I was rearranging the icons on my desktop, when I moved the firefox icon across another icon it disappeared.
I'm not downloading 3.0 again for a long time -- caused nothing but trouble -- in fact they are still updating 2 so why not wait until they get all the bugs out of the new version.
3.0 has been great for me on my Mac. I haven't tried putting it on my Windows laptop yet. Maybe I'll wait.
I think this might be key. I haven't crashed it once here on Vista. It did crash on my XP at work a couple of times but nothing bad here at home.
If you have Windows, go to C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox and find "firefox.exe". Right-click on that and select "Send To >" and then choose "Desktop (create shortcut)". It's still going to say "firefox.exe" on the desktop shortcut, but you can rename it to whatever you want if that bothers you.
Anyone else experiencing problems with firefox logging you out of forums everytime you close it? It might be conjunction problem with S & D.
