Finally switched to Chrome a few months back after Firefox became too bogged down, especially after adding my extensions. Honestly, I like Chrome and plan to stick with it.
Uninstall your java when watching p*rn. There's a vulnerability that Sun never fixes that allows rouge Anti-virus software to get installed. Turning off java on your browser won't help. You need to uninstall it through your control panel.
As long as Chrome doesn't flake out, I'm staying. Mine just updated itself to version 11.0.696.16. Need to check out what v.11 has compared to v.10. I'll update to FF4 as use it as a backup.
I am an fan of chrome. I use Firefox because of work and i need to have separate browser for different log ins from my chrome accounts. I just have always like chrome much better than firefox.
I like it but I'm getting pissed with Facebook pop-up and other pop-up opening on the same browser. Usually the smaller pop-up open on a separate tab. Another annoying thing is the font. It's freaking thinner and harder to read but unchecking Using Hardware Acceleration when Available fix it but what's the point of having it in the first place.
missing my add ins but think i can wait getting something weird with this bbs, like the page is still loading (the circle icon thing spinning) and perhaps some elements very slow to load
The snail pace loading is killing me. It's like I tripped back to 1995 and reverted back to dial-up. Plus and the lack of add ons makes 4.0 incredibly useless. Worst.Upgrade.Evarrz. How do I go back to my old FF? I think it was 3.6 or something?
That's strange, 4 is running much faster than 3.6 for me. The add-ons which I use are compatible too. Before I was using both FF for stuff which needed add-ons and Chrome for everything else, now I can go back to doing everything in FF.
For those experiencing very slow speeds, try it a couple of times and maybe rebooting after installing to give it a shot. The first time I opened it after installing it froze, had to ctrl atl del, and open it in safe mode for it to work. Since then, everything's been working fine in normal mode. Very happy!
No option to right click-->duplicate tab? Even IE9 has this now. Sorry Firefox, you've failed me. Back to Chrome.
