(a) a gun/knife/weapon (AK47s take 2 hands) (b) his penis (c) the Quran I'm lost. What exactly are you getting at?
Such ridiculous nonsense. I personally know a police officer that has needlessly killed two dogs, one that was basically a crippled dog. Neither time did he get in any trouble, nor was there any publicity about it. Neither time did the dog actually do anything other than "look scary" either. Hogwash.
I think the implication is that you can change the behavior of people who are driven by money by simply altering the incentive framework. They're rational. When people are driven by religion, they won't respond to incentives. I'm not sure I believe that, but that's the point of making a distinction.
Makes some sense. But rational is personal. I think both group know much (calculated and rational in their viewpoint) what they are doing with the beheading. Psychological fear is their aim. And I would almost bet that extremist religious driven folks would die out before extremist money driven folks would die out. You might even call Money the oldest and most resilient shared religion.
You mean there wasn't wall to wall media coverage for a month and the FBI, justice department and local authorities all didn't open up investigations when he shot the dogs?
So, hearing that the suspect was recently released from prison (2013), it made me think. The prison system could very well be a perfect recruiting opportunity for extremist groups. Young men who already have issues with authority and a chip on their shoulder, with too much time on their hands. Many either become devout Christians or Muslims while serving time. I wonder if this is a strategy of these groups, and if so, what is our government doing to counter it. Just a thought. As for this guy. They need to do a thorough investigation to determine whether or not this was fueled by Islam. If it was, than these people might deserve federal benefits to those victim of terrorism. Too often has the JD declared incidents as workplace violence, e.g. Fort Hood, and screwed over those killed and maimed by these terrorists. Also, they need to investigate to ensure this wasn't a hate crime. He apparently was suspended for having an argument with a coworker about hating white people? I don't want to jump to conclusions like all the other idiots tend to do when something big happens (i.e. Trayvon Martin, Furgeson, etc.), they are serious allegations, I am very curious what the investigation will come up with.
There is a saying.. "be careful what the other hand is doing" might make more sense for the common core folks. taqiyya = circumstances are typically those that advance the cause Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.
