Fire TV Stick vs. Chromecast vs. Roku Streaming Stick

Also, the voice search is pretty awesome for the fire-stick. I wish I got the remote that has the ability to voice search. I use the app on my phone and it works flawlessly.

 

Right you're still not understanding that other people prefer that over using a remote. I get where you're coming from, but it's still a matter of preference. I think a lot of people will disagree with you. Naturally you're welcome to your line of thinking.

 

Its less about opinion and more about application. For me, I use my TV to watch movies and tv shows only. I understand some people use the TV for everything. I have a gaming rig for everything else, including a movie server. I used to push content from my gaming rig to my TV and it was cumbersome and annoying. Plex and Roku simplifed that into a very seamless action. I am also one of those who use my phone for communication, not as a media platform.

That said, I understand there are some out there that only have tablets and phones who spend hours upon end watching Facebook and youtube videos. Chromecast is a very nice device to push those cat videos to your TV.
