Silas won’t be back next year but all of this feels way bigger than him.

    Fire Silas

we need to add size, shooting and defense

bundle KPJ, KJ, Christopher and Clippers pick for an impact player.

Y'know, I've been on the "we already got bottom 3 locked up, it's fine to win now" train. But I guess if we finish the season on a big losing streak and that ensures the organization moves on from the Coach Silas Era right away during the offseason, I'm cool with that.

Well, momster wasn't here when McH, Adelman, JVG were coaching.

It dated way back admittedly not as egregious.

I guess Stone isn't as cool as you are, he hasn't done a thing.

A coach who makes adjustments, insists on playing defense, holds players accountable. Not too much to ask.
Although getting the right coach is a challenge. Salary, player development, length of contract, who's available.

I’m waiting for a Silas fire date pool thread. 1 day after season ends? 2 days? I feel like teams usually rip the bandaid off pretty quick. We’ve got to get working to find our new leader. I usually don’t like mid season firings, but the rockets actually needed to move on from Silas and not waste the last half season, which they did. The only + is that Bari figured out how to ge out of his funk, but no thanks to Silas.

the upside is, someone like Mammoud might have come in and ruined the tank.

what happens if he steps down? Mutual parting of ways? Still count as a firing?

Silas isn't the only higher up that doesn't know what he's doing.

That is actually an extraordinary ask.

Find any team in history as young as us that was good on defense. It doesn't exist.

I could care less about Silas, but I can already see people trying to scapegoat him, and thinking there is going to be some big change with a new coach.
